Date: Tuesday, 19.09.2023
Time: 09:00-10:30 a.m.
Location: Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum (HNF), Auditorium
Business Informatics has its own responsibility to contribute to the debate and technology development at an early stage in the course of ‘Digital Responsibility’. Therefore, it is proposed to reach a consensual understanding of an aspirational future and relevant research questions in three areas.
First, the concept of inclusive enterprise as a responsible goal is introduced and discussed using City 5.0 as an example. Second, Digital Development Goals require a shared vision of processes to strive for, which is concretized by an example from the healthcare sector. Third, a shared understanding of future competencies in the context of digital responsibility is necessary. This is discussed using the example of the professionalization of trust in the form of the trust designer.
Such a shared understanding of the future will allow business informatics to better incentivize, focus and accelerate its research projects and thus contribute more to research-informed, responsible future design.
