Objectives of the workshop
The organizers invite female scientists who aspire to an academic career to this workshop. Interested young scientists are also welcome. The aim is to exchange ideas on individual important topics on the way to a professorship under the moderation of experts at various tables and thus to gain new insights for the individual areas.
Format
- Opening and introduction of the experts
- World-Café with different topic tables (moderation by the experts and rotation at the tables)
- Closing round: 3 take aways from each topic table

- Paths to professorship
- “Berufungsverhandlungen”: Tips and tricks
- Work-Life Balance
- Managerial tasks and challenges
- University professorship vs. FH professorship

Thursday 21.09.2023 from 10:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Registration
Workshop registration will take place as part of the conference registration via the ConfTool conference system and is included in the conference fees. The number of participants is limited to 30. As this is especially a promotion to strengthen young female scientists, we reserve the right to give preference to registrations of female scientists if this limit is exceeded.
